Skirt

These are the internal aluminium formers that fit inside the front of the skirt and they need to be formed around the outside of the pod radius at the rear. I used a gradual bend technique and slowly moved from one end to the other radiusing the bar as I went. A little tricky!

And fitted into the skirt. The holes have been formed using a soldering ion melt through the nylon skirt where the holes in the alu brackets were felt.

This shows the fixing of the skirt to the rear of the pod.

The rear of the skirt has to be fixed to the lower engine table support bars. These have to be drilled and then the skirt is secured with the self tappers and washers. The bottom of the skirt has been pulled tight using the eyelet in the center rear of the skirt and routed around the lower mast keel plates.
